Ash Jonas

Asha Jonas (newyorker45), the founder of SadGirlStudio, has always dreamed about having a studio, so she went out and made that happen. The multi-instrumentalist/producer left school at 14 due to Tourette's syndrome and ocd although times were tough, Ash always found comfort in creating something, whether that was through songwriting or producing music. SadGirlStudio is a safe place to make the music you want to make, or as Ash says, “make the music that enhances the soul." Ash has worked with many musicians, from pop to jazz; she hopes to work with many more on her musical journey. Ash is also in a band called NewYorker45 may I say the coolest jazz cats around.When we asked Ash what type of music she makes, she replied with "anything that makes me feel something"
